Job Summary and Responsibilities:
The Associate, Human Resources will provide broad spectrum of HR support to Markle staff as needed. Reporting to Director Human Resources, this role will primarily focus on onboarding, payroll support, benefits administration, and HR compliance as well as HRIS upkeep. As is true of all Markle team members, applicants to this position should feel comfortable wearing many hats and bearing responsibility to carry out a variety of projects across Markle operations team. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Benefits Administration
- Be the prime point of contact for any benefits pertinent questions for staff. Conduct benefits
- Communicate benefits information to employees as needed, process enrollments, claim resolution, audit invoices for payment and support with benefits
- Calculate retirement plan contributions and work closely with TPA on required
- Support with open enrollment planning and staff
2. HRIS upkeep and reporting
- Maintain accurate staff data and manage change
- Kick off of on-boarding and off-boarding tasks and track completion. Troubleshoot issues with HRIS
- Introduce and enhance reporting
- Configure annual performance review template and process flow in
3. HR Policy and Compliance
- Maintain HR filing system and
- Field employee requests and questions on policies and
- Support launch and completion of compliance
- Support ongoing review of HR policies to adopt best practices and stay
4. On-boarding and off-boarding support
- Create offer letters, coordinate with candidate on acceptance and lead in-house coordination in preparation of on-boarding. Track completion of I9s and all new hire paperwork.

- Coordinate internally with operations team and with benefits carrier and update organization records and
5. Payroll Support
- Support planning of payroll cycle and processing of
- Check for all staff pertinent information – new hires, terminations, promotions etc. Process changes to staff
