Docs Differ Widely in PHR Attitudes: Study

In a recent study written by the director of the Institute for Ethics at the American Medical Association, the director of personal health technology at the Markle Foundation and a doctoral student in public policy at the University of Chicago, 700 physicians were surveyed about their use and opinions on personal health records.   It was found that 64% have never used PHRs, while about 42% believe in the benefits of PHRs and are open to adopt the tool.
