At a consumer health IT summit, Federal officials announced that the Blue Button program, which Markle developed in collaboration with other groups to call for a set of privacy and security policies based on the Markle Common Framework, has extended beyond the VA and is now supported by healthcare providers and health plans with availability to millions of Americans.
