Front Range Community College has partnered with the career websites LinkedIn and Skillful for an event to help people find the training they need to get better jobs.
Tuesday, the college will host an event introducing people to online tools designed to help people find local, short-term training programs that they can use to become more qualified for different jobs.
“We’re hoping to bring in individuals who are either looking for education or training opportunities or maybe who are deciding what their career path is and how they can actually take advantage of educational opportunities to get there,” FRCC Larimer Campus Vice President Jean Runyon said.
At the event, people can get help learning to use Training Finder, a LinkedIn tool that helps people find local training programs that could help them access new career opportunities, and Skillful, a career-focused website. Skillful offers people free skill assessments and other career help such as coaches who can help people prepare for interviews or improve their resumes.
