Up-Skilling Workers and Narrowing Skills Gaps in Colorado, Phoenix
Wan-Lae Cheng, Dr. Casey Sacks, Stephanie Veck, Lloyd Ward, and panel leader Laura Williams will discuss how the middle-skills gap is hurting Colorado’s economy and what efforts are uniting employers, educators, and workers to help narrow the gap. In addition, both Williams and Cheng will talk about how Skillful, an initiative jointly launched by Markle, LinkedIn, Arizona State University, and EdX, is also supporting such efforts in Colorado and Phoenix, and can serve as a model for communities across the nation.
