Markle director Jill Schulmann attended the 2012 Consumer Health IT Summit, in which Markle’s blue button video was released to the public. Peter Levin, Chief Technology Officer of the Department of Veterans Affairs, credited Markle and the collaborative process.
Levin said, “I want to thank Markle personally for their convening power, for their foresight to create the space for that dialogue, and for their leadership in holding the folks that I’ve mentioned and many others accountable for delivering this (the blue button).”
